I met the story of Sonder, a pioneer brand in Rosario Argentine value, a national bet Voloy, a great passion difficult moments

She started making clothes for herself, then for her friends and little by little she became a pioneer inside the sporting clothing area for wearing Lycra.Today, Silvana Dal Lago designs, produces and markets throughout the country.

The story begins with Silvana's concern for - after finishing his secondary studies - generate his own income. Thus she began to make clothes that she first used herself, and then prepare for her friends of her friends, until the time came to sell clothes at the request of neighborhood shops. At that time (the end of the eighties), the brand still had no name, but the garments already broke into the business for their materials (Lycra used, an almost disappeared input at the time), utility, practicality, comfort and calce. The growing demand encouraged her to stamp her seal: the initial of her name designed by her sister.

With the idea of having a reference place, in May 1992 he rented the first place. It was located in the Garden Gallery (Miter, between Ricardone and San Luis), there were 2 stores with the fair space for a cutting table and 3 sewing machines."We were only my husband, a seamstress and me," says Silvana, who says he was never among his plans to build a company and is not defined as a merchant, but as "an industrial".

Little by little the dream extended to the entire country, and today it has 160 employees distributed in 14 its own franchises: Rosario (Shopping of the century, Shopping Portal, Miter 2620, the doctor, Tucumán 1754, Mendoza 4164), Paraná (Cervantes 9 and San Martín 684), San Nicolás (Nation 107), Santa Fe (Salta 2541), Córdoba (Bishop Trejo 219 Ypioners present - 74 - July 9 221), Mar del Plata (Olavarría 3172), Concordia (Salta 36, Loc.A) and La Plata (Calle 10 Nº 883).Such growth is not accidental, but is due to the plata of clear goals, the overcoming of fear and accompaniment of the edilicio, an aspect in which his sister, who is an architect, gave him important support.

SONDER-ARGENTINO SRL VALUE was born in 1992.TODAY FABRICA 2.500 daily garments, controlling the entire production chain, from design to preparation, where ironing, labeling, review and pre-production processes are involved.Making 100 % garments in the country has twice the cost of production that abroad, because the company is not limited to being a commercial entrepreneurship, but to pursue the satisfaction of sportswear needs.

"Today the company needs to show its growth. In 2010 we bought a shed and started working in this space, which we are now remodeling, with the intention of opening it to the community and building a volleyball court with stands, ”says Dal Lago. The idea is to make a model company, and the desire is to open the doors of the factory, turn it into an industrial window so that both workers and those who visit it can appreciate the process.

One of the projects linked to the company's life is Rosario Sonder, a volleyball club founded on February 14, 2002 for the restlessness and passion for this sport of the brand's owners. He began participating with isolated teams in the Rosario Championship, and had a year of Sports Alliance with a private school that was called Sports Cabrini-Sander.The company and the club were growing hand in hand with the growing participation of the city's sports and social actors. In 2003, he successfully participated in the National Ascent Tournament, his first official competition, to join the first category in April of that year, after beating Tucumán Cajopopular Final.

In his first season, with coach José Luis Pecce at the head, the team served as a home in the Miniestadio of Newell’s Old Boys, and although he did not get the classification to Playoffs, he said his permanence in the category. In the following season he merged with Scholem Aleijem to form Rosario Scholem Sonder, with a good result.Elequipo finished first is the regular phase, with 17 wins and 5 losses. In the quarterfinals he eliminated Alianza Córdoba winning the three games. In semifinals he faced Bolívar, but after winning the first 3-0 game, he lost the next three and was eliminated.

The 2005/06 season was the most successful for the club, which again played as Rosario Sonder. The team won the ACLAV Cup against Volley Missions and was runner -up in the National Tournament.Again it was first in the regular phase, with 19 wins and 3 losses. He eliminated River 3-0 and Alianza Córdoba 3-2, but lost in the final with Friends Club 4-2, who retired from the League after getting his first national title.

In the next season, Sonder finished the regular phase 8, so he had to face Bolívar (who did not lose a match in the tournament), a very strong team reinforced by Marcelo Tinelli. The story was repeated the following year: Sonder, with 9 wins and 13 losses, had to face Bolívar, who had only lost a game and that season would not lose any other.

In the 2008/09 season, Rosario was 9th with 5 wins and 15 losses, so he did not classify the playoffs, but took a considerable advantage over San Juan works so as not to have to think about permanence. However, 2009/10 would be the last season for SONDER.It ended 6 in the regular phase and faced in the quarterfinals of Finala the Union of Formosa, losing for 3 games at 1.

As for many other companies, 2001 was synonymous with debacle: "If there is no money there is no cloth".And the company went from 50 workers to 30.Beyond complications, "we take it as a challenge," says Silvana. And follow: “We cook everything we had cut and took advantage of an invitation to participate in an outlet fair in the Patio de la Madera, in March 2002.The Aerobic was fashionable and prepared stock with clothing, such as combined meshes, for which we use until the last cloth of cloth. There we sold everything and that allowed us.That crisis united them as a team, and the sense of belonging helped them stay in the market.Recently, they made a new recognition to 30 employees who put the business during the crisis, an attitude that reflects Silvana's thought about success: "Sonder works because their employees are not indifferent".

The Rosarina businesswoman understands that all the condiments of her history have forged the "Sonder Spirit", which has to do with conditions of the game and sport applicable to everyday life, to the will of always try to improve."I like the idea of leaving a mark," he says, while stressing that, if he could do it, he would not change anything, since "every error is a possibility of learning and growing".
