Formula 1: controversy over the dress code for the Saudi Arabian GP

In December the first Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia will be run and the regulations for clothing generate discussions.

On December 5, the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be held for the first time, at the Jeddah circuit, and the organization communicated the dress codes that generated controversy.

The rules are especially strict with women, who are urged not to wear excessive makeup, not to wear any transparent clothing or garments above the knee; that is, no miniskirts. Neither show the back or wear dresses with straps. Not to mention bikinis. No tight clothing.

As for men, shorts, shorts, tank tops and tight pants are prohibited.

In addition to dress, everyone is asked not to make excessive affective gestures or use language that could be considered inappropriate.
