The Agroexperimental Center of Companies of the Diputación incorporates a new company dedicated to the study of La Pitaya |Haonomia.es - Huelva Economic and Business Information
With the objective is to increase the diversity of projects of the agri -food sector, allow technological transfer to the successful programs sector and serve as an instrument to companies and projects in its first steps until consolidating in the productive fabric, the Diputación de Huelva has created the agroxperimental center ofCompanies.
Managed by the institution's agricultural and livestock innovation service, the center is an open space to business initiatives and companies that are linked to the agricultural or agri -food sector and whose common denominator is innovation, research, development of products or services withPotential not represented in our province, the implementation of new agricultural/agri -food production technologies and the development of agricultural or agri -food projects from the gender perspective.
To do this, the Diputación de Huelva from the Agriculture Service makes available a module infrastructure for companies with common spaces and areas.The center has 9 modules of scientific or research activities and development and 9 modules of business-official activity.It also has an audiovisual room with capacity for 132 attendees, two meeting rooms and work with audiovisual equipment;Self -service dining room, wifi area and access to agricultural exploitation plots with electric and water supply.
In the agroexperimental center, four companies are currently installed, with a marked technological innovative character in fields such as spectrum in visible spectrum with drones, the use of algae in agriculture or new crop systems.To them is now added the incorporation of a new company, Agrícola Vizlin: Griselia Coromoto Vizuete Linares.
Its objective is to cultivate Pitaya for the study of the behavior of different varieties of this fruit, subject to different conditions such as water stress, direct pollination, the same flower or crossed, of the same variety and other varieties.Another parameter that is planned to study is the behavior and production taking into account the maximum and minimum temperatures of each year of the project.
Likewise, the Vizlin Agricultural Project includes another exotic crop, the Venezuelan sweet pepper, with which it is intended to obtain information from the behavior of this crop in our climate and the possibility of maintaining for more than a year the crop, since it presents a marketingVery interesting in Spain.

On the Agroexperimental Center of companies that program is an extension of the company nurseries of the Diputación de Huelva of Local Development in operation since 1998, through which more than 100 initiatives have passed.With this project the number of modules and the typology of the activity are extended, being able to develop agro -industrial activities.
The differentiating element of this business center model is the possibility of accessing agricultural exploitation plots of 3,000 to 4,500 square meters.For this objective, the Diputación de Huelva has invested 200,000 euros approved through a financially sustainable investment project.
The prices, stay times, requirements and requests are those approved in the basis of general access conditions and are similar to those established for the local development companies where only professional services activities can be developed.All information, as well as application models, can be located on the website of the Diputación, within the Agriculture Service.
The incorporation into the center can be instantaneous for those requests that can develop their activities without an exclusive dependence on the immediate disposition of the transfer of plots.Once the plots conditioning project is finished, access to them will be carried out at requests, prioritizing companies that are already located in the center.
The permanence prices of € 50/€ 100/€ 150 for the first three years respectively do not include the electric and water supply for the agricultural exploitation plots in case of having granted the use of it that will be borne by the companydepending on its consumption.
