'Masha and the Bear' will have its film and content for TikTok

The animated series Masha and the Bear, produced by the Russian studio Animaccord, and much loved by children around the world, will soon have new formats, according to Variety magazine.

Although currently the only format is episodes of the series with a duration of 7 minutes each, the production company intends to diversify its content, starting with the launch of four 22-minute episodes. The first will be released at the end of the year and will focus on the Christmas party, while the second will deal with ecology.

Another big announcement is that an animated feature film developed under the franchise will be released in 2025. This work will be an opportunity for Animaccord to take the emblematic characters of the series out of their usual environment, that is, the forest, and make them live exciting adventures alongside new heroes.

Finally, the company also plans to evolve towards shorter formats for social networks, in particular TikTok. The creation of interactive and playful content, which involves the interaction of the target audience, is also studied.

As a reminder, Masha and the Bear is one of the most popular animation projects in the world, translated into 39 languages ​​and broadcast in 150 countries. One of the episodes of the series is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most viewed animated video of all time on YouTube, with 4.44 billion views, making it the most popular non-music video on the platform and the sixth most popular overall.
