The singer from Madrid joins forces with his creative director, Alejandro Turrión, to create a brand inspired by the filmography of Wes Anderson or the pictorial works of David Hockney

Few sensations come close to the false comfort of staying overnight in a hotel room, sleeping past breakfast and extend the night with a late exit from bed accompanied by hangover-proof room service. Antón Álvarez knows that well, or rather, C. Tangana (Madrid, 1990), who has spent a handful of years scoring goals of this nature between recording records, promotional campaigns and endless tours around half the globe. It is not surprising that in the most buoyant year of the author of El Madrileño, Pucho came up with one last thrust just the same day that his Tiny Desk Concert saw the light of day. The occurrence is none other than his fashion brand Late Checkout, hatched in alliance with his creative partner Álex Turrión from a common chat in 2019, and inspired by hotel adventures with nods to the Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson or the works by David Hockney.

The rest of Tangana's creative clan joins the firm, from Santos Bacana and his Little Spain to the photographer Javier Ruiz or the art director Leila Rodríguez, who together have produced the campaign for the firm's first collection. In it, the bellhop of a five-star hotel sneaks through its rooms and disguises himself as a guest as if he were a Hollywood star. “B is not a bad guy. He simply never liked this hotel”, advances the text that illustrates the campaign. Under the Late checkout Issa lifestyle premise, this first collection can be purchased from April 21, simultaneously on the firm's website and in the Minishop Madrid multi-brand store, which includes it among its donkeys from that same day. One more step in the creative journey that has taken the man from Madrid to the top with an album that defends the authenticity of our geography to the most infinite pleasure.
