La editorial Panini Manga México emitió un comunicado en redes sociales anunciando que comenzará la publicación del manga escrito e ilustrado por Tomohito Oda, Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu (Komi Can’t Communicate), en el mes de abril de 2022. La periodicidad no fue especificada en el anuncio, por lo que todavía no es claro si esta serie, que a la fecha suma más de veintitrés volúmenes recopilatorios, se publicará de forma mensual o bimestral.

The work inspired an adaptation to the anime of twelve episodes produced by the OLM studies, under the direction of Kazuki Kawagoe (Beyblade Bursst God, Beyblade Bursst GT) and scripts written by Deko Akao (3D Kanojo: Real Girl, Akagami No Shirayuki-Hime,Hige Wo Soru.Soshite Joshikousei Wo Hirou, Nazo no Kanojo X), broadcast during the Autumn-2021 season (October-December) in Japan, with Netflix distributing it worldwide.A second season will premiere in April 2022.
