‘The forgetfulness that we will be’ and ‘Patria’ triumphs in the Platinum Audiovisual Awards of Ibero -American Audiovisual

La película colombiana El olvido que seremos, de Fernando Trueba, y la serie Patria, liderada por Aitor Gabilondo para HBO, han sido las triunfadoras de la octava edición de los premios Platino, que conceden los productores iberoamericanos de cine y televisión. El olvido que seremos, que adapta la novela de Héctor Abad Faciolince y describe la relación del escritor con su padre, el doctor Héctor Abad, se llevó los galardones a mejor película, dirección, actor protagonista —Javier Cámara—, guion (David Trueba se encargó de la adaptación del libro) y dirección de arte (Diego López). Competía por 11 reconocimientos, misma cantidad que disputaba la guatemalteca La llorona, de Jayro Bustamante, que finalmente se llevó solo tres galardones más técnicos: montaje (del mismo Bustamante y Gustavo Matheu), sonido (Eduardo Cáceres) y fotografía (Nicolás Wong).
